Drug Smuggler Roger Reaves Says Pablo Escobar Was A ‘Gentleman’
Drug smuggler Roger Reaves recently gave an incredible interview about working for Pablo Escobar.
Escobar was the head of the Medellin Cartel and the most feared drug lord to ever live. You might think that he was terrifying in person, but according to Reaves, he wasn’t terrible to deal with. (RELATED: David Hookstead Is The True King In The North When It Comes To College Football)
During a recent interview with Lex Fridman, Reaves said the drug kingpin was a “gentleman” when they met for the first time.
He also added that he “bought seven farms, yachts, ships, airplanes galore” with the money he earned smuggling drugs, according to BroBible. You can watch the full interview below.
It’s always crazy to me when people talk about famous criminals as if they were just regular dudes because I think people often forget they are human.
Was Pablo Escobar the most powerful drug kingpin to ever run an empire? Without a doubt. He controlled an entire continent and flooded America with drugs for years.
However, he was also a guy beloved by his people and supporters. You don’t become beloved unless you have some personal skills.
So, I’m not really shocked that he was a gentleman to Reaves.
Now, would he have killed him without hesitation if he had to? For sure, but that’s all part of the equation when dealing with a drug kingpin.
Let us know in the comments what you think of Reaves referring to one of the world’s greatest criminals as a “gentleman.”
