Former police officer Brandon Tatum joined the Daily Caller’s Stephanie Hamill to discuss the deadly police shooting of Rayshard Brooks in Atlanta, Georgia, the effort to defund police and President Donald Trump’s executive order on police reform.

Tatum told the Daily Caller that he believes the police shooting of Brooks was justified after analyzing the videos and information available to the public. (RELATED: Atlanta Officer Charged With Felony Murder In Rayshard Brooks Shooting.)
“The police officers were doing everything they were trained to do,” said Tatum. “They go to put him in hand cuffs, he starts to fight, he assaults police officers, he took a taser, he punches one of the guys in the face, he takes off running, and then while he’s running he turns and points the taser at officer, not only that, he fired it.”
Tatum went on to explain how a stun gun could be lethal when used by someone who doesn’t have training.
