One Of Christianity’s Most Famous Relics Was Thought To Be Debunked Decades Ago. Now Scientists Aren’t So Sure
Happy Friday, Patriots!
The Shroud of Turin is one of the most heavily debated relics in all of the Christian world. In fact, based on carbon dating done in 1988, many would argue that Jesus’ alleged burial shroud isn’t a relic at all, but rather an elaborate fake dating back to medieval times.
Still, new information suggests that those 1988 tests weren’t exactly as definitive as the public was previously led to believe. Daily Caller deputy editor Arthur Bloom and Christian Datoc sat down to discuss what retesting the shroud would mean to true believers, and whether the Pope would actually let that happen.
